FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of main gas pipelines from gas condensate by means of installation of devices to prevent formation of condensate plugs. Device for removal of condensate from gas line includes screw for swirling of gas flow, located in the lowest point of bend of pipeline in place of condensate collection. Auger is fixed to the body by means of crosswise fastening, one of the axes of the cruciform attachment coincides with the beginning of the auger production line and is attached to the body from four ends. In the lower plane of the longitudinal section of the screw at a distance h from the axis of symmetry, rectangular cutouts of a certain height b and width a are made, depending on the gas velocity and the diameter of the gas line, which contribute to formation of tangential and normal component of gas velocity vector, which contributes to more intensive fluid carryover from screw inner space and lower part of gas line. Screw pitch S is set depending on gas pipeline inner diameter D and gas flow rate so that the least resistance is created, and at the same time effective drift of condensate drops is provided in the interval between two adjacent turns, which reaches its maximum at specific step (ratio ) from 0.9 to 1.1, where S is screw pitch.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of cleaning from condensate formations on inclined sections of main gas pipelines continuously without the need to remove condensate with certain periodicity and, consequently, protection from corrosion.
