FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: electrophoresis in agarose gel is performed by analysis of blood serum before and after treatment. After that, level of lipoprotein LP (a) is determined by means of additional processing of 0.3 ml of 0.1% Triton X-100 solution and incubation for 15 min at 20°C, mixture is mixed by shaking 120 times per 1 min, with further incubation of patient's blood serum with Sudan B solution for 1 hour in dark thermostat at 40°C. After that samples are introduced into a hollow in agarose gel with base area 4x20 mm for LP electrophoresis with further registration of electrophoregrams, their drying, densitometry. If LP (a) level decreases by 35% in comparison to initial level and level of HDLP increases from 13% to 28% and higher, treatment of ischemic heart disease is estimated as efficient.

EFFECT: application of method ensures increase of sensitivity and accuracy of ischemic heart disease treatment.
