FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: dental tip contains a handle and a body with a slot for a spherical head. Te head is mounted in the body and spatially fully rotatable, i.e. rotatable in any direction along a spherical surface of the body. There is a turbine and a grip holder with a pusher and a dental drill (bur) at the head. The body holds a hole for gas supply to the turbine, and a working gas supply duct, which is connected to a gas main feed line. A switching mechanism to fix and release the dental drill is designed as a rotatable eccentric with a profiled surface supported by a blind end face of the pusher of the grip holder. The result is designing an efficient dental tip with improved performance characteristic and an extended range of the dental tips.

EFFECT: simplified design, improved operating safety and service time of the holder.
