FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology and can also be used for conducting repeated laser operations on trabecula in treating primary open-angle glaucoma. A previous laser operative area, and additionally an adjacent area of an intact trabecula are coated once more with laser applicates along the circular arc 80-100°, while total pulse number during the laser beam transmission in both directions is 105-130. On the day of operation, 1-1.5 hours before laser treatment, 1% emoxipin is instilled six times per one hour. The exposure is conducted by a nanosecond Nd-YAG laser at wave length 532 nm with the spot diameter of 400 mcm, power 0.7- 1.2 mJ.
EFFECT: method allows reducing intraocular pressure by intensifying intraocular fluid outflow with the efficient use of the trabecula area and enables multiple repeated procedures, and reducing the number of inflammatory postoperative complications.
