FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: laser trabeculoplasty (LTP) and selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) are performed with the condition of incremental increase in the Nd-YAG laser radiation power at up to 1.0 mJ SLT when applying 40-50 applicates from the upper-nasal area along the arc 180°±20°, then, immediately after this, LTP is performed in the same sequence along the lower trabeculae arc.
EFFECT: combined effects on both pigmented and non-pigmented structures will reduce IOP with improved medical and social rehabilitation, and reduce trauma in the upper segment of the anterior chamber angle.
