FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of electric current so that a metal structure has a negative potential relative to ground, and also connection of one electric contact of each electric device to the structure; and connection of the other one to the ground. Power is supplied to each electric device, at the same time the structure is used to transfer data by means of modulation of load electric current, specified power supply sent along the structure. The load current is modulated using modulation technology on DC load, frequency modulation, amplitude modulation, pulse modulation, intrapulse linear frequency modulation and/or ultrabroadband modulation, at the same time data transfer is preferably bidirectional. The structure forms a part of oil and/or gas production system.

EFFECT: giving up on usage of electric cables or a generator, photoelectric cells, dynamos, which are wind-driven.
