SUBSTANCE: technique of the experiment involves recording current-voltage curves of glutathione using a mercury film electrode at potential -0.237 V relative a saturated silver chloride electrode on the background of a borate buffer solution at pH 9.18 with direct-current form of potential sweep at a rate of 0.05 V/s with the region of the determined gutathione content ranging from 6.42•10-5 to 6.16•10-4 mol/l.

EFFECT: effective, sensitive and rapid method of determining glutathione in biologically active additives using a cathode voltammetry technique.
