FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry. Method comprises, for 150 s, performing electrochemical concentration of glycyrrhizic acid on surface of a mercury film electrode at electrolysis potential (-1.8) V on a background of 0.01 M potassium chloride with subsequent recording of current-voltage curves with linear potential sweep rate 50 V/s, and glycyrrhizic acid concentration is determined by peak height in range of potentials (-0.2) to (-0.3) V relative to a silver chloride electrode.
EFFECT: method is characterised by high sensitivity (1 pg/ml) and rapidness (single-time analysis does not exceed 10-15 minutes).
