FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and describes method for quantitative determination of total content of sulphur-containing compounds in human blood serum by method of anode voltammetry. Method for determination of total content of sulphur-containing compounds in blood serum includes preliminary sample-preparation of blood serum and voltammetric determination of total content of sulphur-containing compounds at the background of borate buffer solution with pH 9.18. Anode voltammetry is performed with application of indicator mercury-film electrode with differential-pulse form of potential sweep at rate 0.03 V/s in range of potentials from -1.0 V to 0.05 V relative to saturated silver chloride reference electrode. Concentration of total content of sulphur-containing compounds in human blood serum from 1.0⋅10-4 to 1.2⋅10-3 mol/dm3 is determined by height of peak of anode current at -0.03 V potential by method of calibration graph by standard glutathione solution.
EFFECT: high selectivity, sensitivity and simplicity of determination.
