FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the area of medicine, namely to the experimental ophthalmology and can be used for studying anatomic and topographic peculiarities of vitreous body (VB). In order to study the VB structures the sclera is cut in four millimeters away from the limbus, keeping front section of the eye intact, formed sclera flaps are cut away, leaving the section of sclera in the dorsal pole of eyeball, then the formed flaps of choroid and retina are removed, VB structures are stained with barium sulphate suspension, after staining cortex layers of VB are dissected, stained structures of VB are separated, dissected and sent for histological study.
EFFECT: method provides for improved visualization of VB structures and gives the possibility of isolated staining and separation of the structures.
