FIELD: transport machinery.
SUBSTANCE: coupling joint includes the first connecting member, the second connecting member which can be locked with the first connecting member, axial member of some length, the first and the second end. The first end is locked with the first connecting member. The actuator with a moving output member can move between withdrawn and advanced position. The output member is locked with the second end of the axial member by a swing member which forms a yaw axis. The guiding member can allocate the swing member and some portion of the axial member length. The swing member and some portion of the axial member length are located inside the guiding member when the actuator is withdrawn. The axial member is located outside the guiding member when the actuator is advanced. A towing vehicle can be attached to a towed vehicle by the above mentioned coupling joint. The essence of this coupling method is that the first connecting member is moved to the second connecting member by moving the actuator from withdrawn to advanced position for drawing the first connecting member to the second connecting member and their coupling. The actuator is withdrawn for towage, so that the swing member provides turning of the first connecting member towards the actuator along the vertical axis during its movement.
EFFECT: simplification of coupling joint design.
