SUBSTANCE: machine comprises a feeding device and a removable reaper. The feeding device comprises means for lifting the reaper, at least one rotating cam and the activating means for rotating the cam about an axis. The cam and the activating means are located with the ability to hold the lower part of the reaper at a distance from the feeding device. The feeding device additionally comprises at least one first hook. The hook is rotated in the direction to the reaper, while the cam moves from the reaper so that the hook by means of that captures the rod or the pin located on the reaper, attaching by this the reaper to the feeding device. The agricultural machine is provided with a coupling mechanism connecting the first and second connecting parts. The parts are formed so that to engage automatically and set the hydraulic and/or electrical connection. The method of connection of the reaper to the feeding device of the machine comprises the steps of driving the machine close to the reaper, lifting the reaper, rotation of the cam on the feeding device and a hook until the hook captures the rod or the pin located on the reaper. Movement of the reaper towards the feeding device initiates the automatic hydraulic and/or electrical connection between the feeding device and the reaper.

EFFECT: providing a combination of machine and a reaper, equipped with means for automatic setting of the hydraulic and electrical connection between the reaper and the feeding device.
