FIELD: sensor electrode production.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing electrodes via screen printing and modifying the said electrodes with Prussian blue includes consecutive application of the following substances to the surface of the said electrode: a solution containing iron (III) or iron (II) ions, one surface-active agent with a suitable solvent and a solution containing ferrocyanide (II) or ferricyanide (III) ions, and one surface-active agent. The solution concentration should ensure that the Prussian blue forms exactly on the electrode surface. Furthermore, the said electrode produced by screen printing does not undergo any preliminary treatment before the said consecutive application of the solutions. The solution containing iron (III) or iron (II) ions is an acidic solution with the pH level ranging from 0,5 to 6,0, the solution is chosen from the group of inorganic acid salts of iron (III) or iron (II). The said surface-active agent is take from a group consisting of sodium lauryl sulphate and lauryl ethoxy sulphate, benzalkonium chloride, polyoxyethylene of fatty acid ether derivatives and sorbites and their mixtures.
