FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a test strip for determining content of ethyl alcohol in blood by electrochemical method using an amperometric cell. Test strip contains a planar graphite electrode with a modified hydrosol of manganese dioxide and an applied fermentative mixture. Fermentative mixture contains alcohol oxidase Pichia pastoris or Hansenula polymorpha, a detergent and high-molecular alcohol.

EFFECT: invention provides for determination of ethyl alcohol content in blood by electrochemical method in the range of concentrations from 1 to 32 mM.
