FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention represents a method for selection of selection samples of winter triticale, including determination of plant growth rate, including cutting of analysed specimens in the stalking phase at height of 5–7 cm and determination of their grain productivity after growing. Breeding samples with higher regrowth (regeneration capacity) are selected in relation to grain productivity of overgrown plants to productivity of control, without mowing, expressed in percentage.
EFFECT: method increases reliability of selection of promising samples with high regrowth (regenerative capacity) with reduction of labour intensity.
