SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of mechanical engineering and in particular to the connection unit designed for connection between the bicycle transportation unit and the pull-type device ball on the transportation vehicle. The connection unit includes: a base plate that contains a connecting piece and a hollow cone part. The connecting piece is designed for connection to the bicycle transportation unit, and the hollow cone part has an open bottom section and a through-hole that is made at the top section of the hollow cone part. The connection unit includes a mortice that goes along the periphery and a lateral mortice. The mortice that goes along the periphery is linked with the lateral mortice. The connection unit also contains a horizontal tube and a fixing part, a clamping device, clamps, a base pin, the first connection section, the second connection section.

EFFECT: increase in security of attachment of the cargo transportation unit on the transportation vehicle.
