WAY TO GET DESALTED WATER AND HIGHLY PURE WATER FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN RESEARCH CENTRES Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC C02F9/00

Abstract RU 2442756 C1

FIELD: getting of highly pure water for heat carriers of nuclear power plants.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of getting highly pure water for heat carriers of nuclear power plants with the help of diaphragm and absorption methods. In the course of getting of desalted water and highly pure water the water is fed from the initial water tank in order to remove organic matters and available chlorine from it with the packless coal filter and suspended matters in the micro filter. Further water desalination on two subsequent reverse-osmotic filters by means of directing the first filtrate through the intermediate tank to the inlet of the second one, and the second filtrate - to additional purification in the ion-exchange filter; accumulation of the purified water in the clean water tank; returning of the concentrate from the second reverse-osmotic filter and a part of the concentrate volume of the first reverse-osmotic filter that is enough for banding of free carbon dioxide to the initial water tank, and directing of the rest concentrate from the first reverse-osmotic filter to discharge if it does not contain radioactive or poisonous pollutants, otherwise - to detoxification.

EFFECT: considerable expansion of the operation life of the ion-exchange filters and reduction of consumption of the initial water in order to get highly pure water.
