FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: LCD flare is lowered by tuning backlight to the level where LCD flare is invisible and subsequent introduction of induced veiling flash. The flash is additionally tuned by profiling backlight to hide the geometrics (for example of LED massive) of the backlight. The decrease is performed, for example, by the way of processing signals for backlight induction and front modulator in the display with the double modulation.

EFFECT: suppression of LCD flare.
