FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: charge to manufacture periclase-spinel products includes periclase powder and aluminium-magnesium spinel. Periclase powder is periclase with density of more than 3.15 g/cm³ and causticised periclase. MgO content in periclase makes 93-99%. Components of the charge are at the following ratio, wt %: periclase with density of more than 3.15 g/cm³ - the base, causticised periclase - 1-10, aluminium-magnesium spinel 10-25.

EFFECT: development of a refractory with high heat resistance provided with a microcracked structure capable of removing stresses that occur in case of thermal shocks under conditions of considerable gradient of temperatures.
