FIELD: refractory industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the refractory industry and can be used for the manufacture of periclase spinel refractory products intended for lining rotary and shaft furnaces and other high-temperature units. The composition of periclase spinel refractories as a base contains a combination of granular periclase with a fraction of 5-1 mm with an apparent density of at least 3.35 g/cm3 and a fraction of 1-0 mm with an apparent density in the range of 3.15-3.30 g/cm3, taken in the ratio - 0.3-1.3, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: periclase fraction 5-1 mm with an apparent density of at least 3.35 g/cm3 - 15-32, periclase fraction 1-0 mm with an apparent density of within 3.15-3.30 g/cm3 - 25-45, aluminum-magnesium spinel fraction 3-0 mm - 11.0-17.0, dispersed periclase - the rest, dispersed heat-stabilized alumina fraction 0.063 mm - no more than 3.0 ( over 100%) and dispersed zirconium dioxide fraction less than 0.063 mm - no more than 1.5 (over 100%).
EFFECT: increasing resistance to the impact of aggressive components of raw materials and gaseous medium.
