FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system for gas and diesel ICE comprises gas source 1, controlled electromagnetic has injectors 7, electronic device to control fuel feed amount and moment, gas fuel feed line, gas accumulator 3 and air intake line. Gas fuel feed line comprises pipeline, pressure control valve 2 and gas-air mixers 5. Gas accumulator 3 allows compensating gas feed irregularities and is mounted between gas pressure control valve 2 and controlled injectors 7. Gas accumulator volume is defined from the equation:

where VA is gas accumulator volume in m3; ρA is natural gas density at injector operating pressure, kg/m3; ρ0 is natural gas pressure on flowing into engine cylinders, kg/m3; V0 is natural gas volume for fuel reserve in accumulator at ρ0 m3; V'c.g. is maximum cyclic gas feed into all engine cylinders m3; p is gas density in operating conditions, kg/m3; p is gas pressure in operating conditions, MPa; T is gas temperature in operating conditions, °K; ps is gas density in standard conditions, kg.m3; Ts is ambient temperature in standard conditions, °K; ps is ambient pressure in standard conditions, MPa, Kc is compressibility factor. Inlet air pipeline to each engine channel 6 features equal length.

EFFECT: maintenance of constant natural gas pressure upstream of injectors and synchronisation of gas-air mix oscillations.
