FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to feeding gas-diesel internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is a method of organizing a gas-diesel ICE working process, comprising feeding a steam-gas-air mixture into combustion chamber 39 with an inlet channel, which is storage chamber 42. During compression of steam-gas-air mixture at its contact and mixing with residual gases in combustion chamber, reactions of combined conversion of lower alkanes in presence of catalyst applied on walls of combustion chamber are initiated. At the same time a depleted steam-gas-air mixture is supplied to the combustion chamber, which is mixed with residual gases forming a fuel charge. During fuel charge compression, it is ignited. In the presence of a catalyst, a reaction of combined conversion of lower alkanes (methane, ethane, propane, butane) to hydrogen and carbon monoxide is initiated. At the end of the fuel charge combustion process on the boundary with the catalyst, the process of high-temperature cleaning of exhaust gases from emissions of nitrogen oxides by high-temperature catalytic reduction on the surface of catalysts at contact of nitrous gases with gases of reducing agents contained in exhaust gases. Gases reductants are methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen and nitrogen-hydrogen mixture.
EFFECT: system serves to ensure flushing operation of gas-diesel ICE at all-mode automatic control of gas and liquid fuel supply and improved fuel-and-economic and ecological characteristics of internal combustion engine.
