SUBSTANCE: device includes: a process parameter sensor, series-connected: filter; signal processor; memory unit; and having a signal analyser, where the filter used is an adaptive filter, one of the inputs of which is connected to the process parameter sensor, and the second input - to one of the outputs of a memory unit switch, which enables to use either standard sensor parameters or standard process data as the reference signal for the adaptive filter, one of the inputs of the analyser being connected to the output of the signal process, and the second - to the other output of the memory unit switch. The method is implemented by said device.

EFFECT: high accuracy of information during a technological process owing to diagnosis of the process parameter sensor.
