FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. Device contains data processor, display device and input device. Data processor presents estimating images in various positions on display device within user's visual field. Each estimating image contains: base image and one or both of test image and noise image, and multitude of estimating images are formed from base image, test image and noise image for estimation of user's possibility limit in test image identification in case of noise presence as position function. Data processor is sensitive to input device, where user can show whether they see test image in estimating image, by switching on input device. Data processor additionally estimates user's response in order to present index of visual system internal noise and one or more of visual effectiveness and visual sensitivity as position function within user's visual field. Implementation of method techniques represents techniques of claimed device operation. Machine-readable carrier contains computer programme which induces programmed computer to realise the method.

EFFECT: application of claimed group of inventions extends arsenal of technical means which make it possible to estimate user's visual response.
