FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Proposed method comprises fabricating forming core from material with a priori known narrow range of fusion in injection mould to shape said forming core. Note here that forming core is provided with cover shell made up of elastic tube. Said tube may be closed on both ends and consist of two parts each having volume equal to, at least, inner volume of formed part of structural component being made. Note also that one part of said tube serves to accommodate forming core while another part makes a vessel to receive fused metal of forming core. Then, billet reinforced by fibers is laid in made forming core to shape formed section of structural element. Then, multistage heating of formed part or it is subjected to pressure to produce structural element. Note here that within one temperature stage, core material smelting and structural element hardening are performed at a time.
EFFECT: higher-efficiency lower-weight structural material.
