FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and conveying machines and hoisting crane overload protection. Proposed limiter comprises control device built around microcontroller, strain-gage force transducer arranged in one of hook suspension hinge assemblies, communication line between control device and force transducer. Said force transducer comprises flexible force take-up element made up of hollow axle of hook suspension units and force take-up element with strain transducers arranged there inside and connected into bridge. Force transducer incorporates signal processing unit arranged inside flexible element and built around microprocessor to process signal from measuring diagonal of aforesaid bridge and equipped with ADC and self-contained power supply for said bridge and signal processing unit. Wide and wireless communication line between control device and force transducer comprises two transceiver modules connected via communication line with control device and force transducer and interconnected via data transfer radio communication channel with power supply line from self-contained source and force transducer.

EFFECT: accurate operation of limiter, higher reliability of data transfer.
