FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: physical value measurement method includes the value conversion to a digital signal with subsequent display of the measurement results or transmission to the information collection station via a wireless communication line. Conversion of the physical value to a digital signal is performed by way of determination of capacitor discharge time (serially, after two resistors wherefrom at least one changes its impedance as a result of the physical value variation), conversion of the time of discharge through the said resistors to corresponding intermediate digital signals and intermediate digital signals memorisation, comparison of intermediate digital signals and formation of an output digital signal following the result of the intermediate digital signals comparison.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurement.
