SUBSTANCE: address mark is selected for relative display of elements of a list of points of interest to a user of a navigation device. At the same time in one version of realisation the method includes stages, at which selection of the address mark of the point of interest on the navigation device is requested, and selected elements of the list of the points of interest on the navigation device are displayed in the order based on location corresponding with the selected address mark of the point of interest, and the relative location of each selected element of the list of the points of interest.
