By means of server dividing area on card to be processed into preset number of blocks; receiving, by the server, the location data from the plurality of mobile terminals; determining, by means of a server based on the location data, a plurality of target blocks, in each of which there are more than a predetermined number of mobile terminals for a predetermined interval; obtaining, by means of a server, a point of information (POI) in a region on the map; and determining, by means of a server, an area of interest based on reference points in the plurality of target blocks and said POIs in the region on the map.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of determining area of interest based on data of the islands.
