The plurality of image elements contains at least one of said plurality of image elements which is capable of emitting colour light, and at least one of said plurality of image elements which is capable of interference emission of white light. The plurality of image elements capable of emitting colour light are together capable of forming white light in one way, and one of the plurality of image elements which is capable of interference emission of white light is capable of forming white light in a different way.
