FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods for exciting electro-optic displays. Present invention discloses a method for exciting an electro-optic display, which includes feeding a first excitation phase to a display imaging environment. First excitation phase includes first signal and second signal, wherein first signal is characterized by first polarity, first amplitude as a function of time and first duration, and second signal follows first signal and is characterized by second polarity opposite to first polarity, second amplitude as function of time and second duration; wherein sum of first amplitude as function of time, integrated at first duration, and second amplitude as function of time integrated in second duration, gives first pulse offset.
EFFECT: technical result consists in preservation of proper quality of images on displays for a long time.
