SUBSTANCE: method involves: placing bounding box relating to displayed data updates in a first frame buffer; marking elements in the data structure in which each element corresponds to a different region in the first frame buffer, where marked elements further correspond to regions of the bounding box; comparing the region of the first frame buffer with corresponding regions of the second frame buffer; and placing a truncated data structure into a video encoder, said data structure containing marked elements only for compared regions, having differences such that, the video encoder is capable of transmitting updated displayed data of second frame buffer regions which correspond to marked elements of the truncated data structure.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the mechanism of identifying altered regions of a frame buffer for transmitting images to a remote client by reducing the number of pixel comparisons.
