SUBSTANCE: remote terminal access server comprises a video encoder which supports an extra frame buffer containing data for encoding and transmitting to a remote client an image and a list of elementary items of the graphic image, which updates image data in the extra frame buffer. The video encoder presents a request for obtaining the list of elementary items of the graphic image to the display driver, which receives and tracks the elementary items of the graphic image which, during execution, updates the main frame buffer.
EFFECT: reducing the bandwidth needed for transmitting data changes.
