SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a fabric tape for a machine for manufacture of strip material, in particular paper or cardboard. Fabric tape is made with at least two segments of tape obtained by round-weaving method. Segments of tape are made by implementation of round weaving each, with at least one area of seam of tape segment passing in the direction of the base and connecting with each other two finite regions of the corresponding segment of the tape located in the direction of the weft. At that one finite region of one segment of the tape is connected with an ability of disconnecting with one finite region of the other segment of the tape in the area of seam of fabric tape. At that in the fabric tape one finite region of one segment is connected to one finite region of the other segment of tape in the area of an imaginary seam of the fabric tape, at that the fabric tape in the side edge regions of area of the imaginary seam of the fabric tape has a coating and/or sealing.

EFFECT: fabric tape eliminates the possibility of its loosening and disconnecting, provides its simple adjustment on the length to certain machines.
