FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric tests for receptivity to electromagnetic field (EMF) of electric equipment items and/or electronic systems of vehicles in the specified range of frequencies, when the tested items are exposed to effect of one or more sources of polarised EMF, parameters of which are selected on the basis of the following conditions: Here h1 - pitch of acting EMF tuning by frequency; Q - parameter set in the beginning of tests; fn - carrying frequency of acting EMF; Ea - intensity of acting EMF; Eminperm - minimum permissible level of electromagnetic resistance of electric equipment items; fmin - least border frequency in the specified range of frequencies. The time of EMF exposure makes at least 1 second. EMF may have either circular, or elliptical, or linear polarisation.

EFFECT: development of the method to test electronic systems items for receptivity to EMF, which will make it possible to more fully assess their electromagnetic resistance and take measures to efficiently protect against EMF.
