FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and equipment for production of food products such as candy products formed by way of complementary parts connection. The food products complementary parts intended for being connected to each other are placed on the front surfaces (6A, 7A) of the semi-moulds (6, 7) moved by two different conveyor lines (2', 3'). The complementary parts are matched at the connection work station (13) that turns either of the first or the second semi-moulds over; the said complementary parts having been matched, either of the first or the second semi-moulds is removed for the matched complementary parts to be left on the other of the first or the second semi-moulds; then one performs the mutually connected parts thermal conditioning. The first conveyor line (2') at least partially stretches over the second conveyor line (3') i.e. is located within the boundaries of the second conveyor line (3') area surface. The space taken up by the equipment may be additionally reduced if the connected semi-moulds (6, 7) are moved behind the connection workstation (13) for the complementary parts connection at the same gap as prior to their connection, the additional advantages being energy saving and the rate of movement to the workstation (14) for thermal conditioning, for example, inside a chilling tunnel.
EFFECT: removal of one of the semi-moulds downstream the thermal conditioning workplace (14) ensures additional energy saving due to elimination of the need to perform treatment of the empty semi-mould.
