SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely ophthalmology, and aims at treating the patients suffering optic nerve atrophy. A peripheral division of analyser is medicated and exposed to percutaneous periorbital electrical stimulation. Infrared laser light at wave length 0.8-1.2 mcm, power 80-90 mWt and session duration 3-8 minutes is used at the distance of 3-5 cm from the eye.
EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness ensured by improved visual function and patient's state at reduced length of treatment.
