FIELD: fire-fighting.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that the most dangerous fire sources 1 are chosen, non-flammable material 2 is transported there and it is applied on the territory of the fire sources 1, at that for application of non-combustible material 2 in the form of water-soil mixture into the existing body of water 3 or specially prepared and water-filled pit, a dredge 4 is set, a slurry pipeline 5 is laid from the dredge 4 to the selected fire source 1, underwater soil is developed with a working body 6 of the dredge 4, and the resulting water-soil mixture is transported by the slurry pipeline 5 to the selected fire source 1, aggradating on its territory a soil mixture and forming an airtight layer 7 of a given thickness.
EFFECT: invention is directed to reduce the complexity of the process and to ensure prevention of re-ignition.
