SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration. Proposed system comprises means for determination and/or display of parameter describing residual life and/or cartridge exhaustion level to inform user on necessity in cartridge replacement. Said means for determination comprises means for correction of determination and/or display of said parameter in the function of physicochemical parameter of water to be filtered. Correction means includes manual means of setting necessary correction at user's will. In compliance with this method, filter residual life and/or cartridge exhaustion level in percolation filtration system, determination and/or display of aforesaid parameters is corrected and/or displayed. Required correction user is set manually. Proposed set comprises, filtration system, at least one separate means for water hardness determination.
EFFECT: simplified system, lower electric power consumption.
