FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: copper-based matrix alloy for producing composite materials by impregnation with graphitised carbon carcass. Alloy comprises mix of titanium boride and titanium powders with content therein of 30% of boron and 70% of titanium, respectively, at the following ratio of components, in wt %: mix of titanium boride and titanium powders with content therein of 30% of boron and 70% of titanium, respectively, makes 0.1-11.0, copper making the rest.

EFFECT: reduced surface tension and interfacial wetting angle, increased fluidity of matrix composite material.
