FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: copper-based matrix alloy for production of composites with graphitized carbon carcass by impregnation contains the mix of powders of lithium tetraborate and copper-boron foundry alloy at the ratio corresponding to the content of boron and lithium of 30% and 8%, respectively, at the following ratio, wt %: the mix of powders of lithium tetraborate and copper-boron foundry alloy - 0.1-5.0, copper making the rest.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance and electric conductivity of composite.
