FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas production industry and can be used in development of a poorly explored oil field. According to the method, a reservoir is drilled with a rare grid of project wells. In a drilled well, detailed seismic surveys are conducted using vertical seismic profiling – VSP in the direction of elevated hypsometric structure marks, diverging by no more than 60°. Predicted structural plan of the reservoir is specified. Areas of increasing hypsometric marks are specified. When confirming the forecast structural plan, adjusted by the results of the VSP, and availability of cost-effective oil-saturated thickness of at least 2 m a production well is built. It is developed as a mining part in the roof and/or near water parts of the structures and an injection well is built in the lower parts of the structures. Selection of products through production wells and injection of a working agent through injection wells are carried out. At the same time, for the deposit, the minimum profitable oil-saturated thickness for the construction of horizontal wells is determined empirically. From the wells located at the distance of 500–600 m from the drilled well, VSP is additionally carried out in the direction of elevated hypsometric marks of the structure, diverging by no more than 60°. Areas with thickness greater than the minimum cost-effective oil-saturated thickness are specified based on the intersection of the study zones, in which horizontal production and injection wells are built as production and injection wells. Additional VSP in the direction of elevated hypsometric marks of the structure is carried out to ensure the error in determining these marks in 1–2 m.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of development costs due to adjusted placement of horizontal wells and higher production wells capacity.
