SUBSTANCE: gyroscope has a damping channel on the longitudinal displacement axis of the movable mass of the gyroscope, which is formed by introducing into the gyroscope, a device for measuring the gap between the measuring electrodes and the movable mechanical element and the frequency compensation link.

EFFECT: possibility of reducing the quality factor of the suspension on the longitudinal displacement axis and increasing accuracy of the gyroscope during operation thereof in vibration and impact conditions, in which, due to said conditions, the gap between the movable mass and electrodes on the axis of secondary oscillations can change.
