FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and aims at the simultaneous examination of straight and conjugate accommodation. In an emmetropisation environment with separated fields of vision, an object is presented to each eye to fix it in the nearest viewing zone. It is followed by recording a dynamic refraction of both eyes that matches with a straight accommodation value of the fixing eye and with a conjugate accommodation value of the paired one.
EFFECT: method provides diagnosing accommodation disorders and predicting a clinical course of progressive myopia.
