FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning gas of dust and may be sued in heat engineering, metallurgy, production of construction materials etc. Dust trap comprises case with cover accommodating axial dusty gas feed branch pipe, swirler made up of hollow disk housing shaped vanes, truncated-cone shield arranged under said swirler and with its smaller base located on disk outer bottom edges, and axial cleaned gas discharge branch pipe. Cover is made integral with swirler. Dusty gas feed branch pipe is arranged atop dust trap cover, along its axis. Cleaned gas discharge branch pipe extends through case bottom.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower power consumption, ease of dust trap manufacture.
