FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: fluxed agglomerate for steel making is obtained from the charge containing converter sludge, fluxes and solid fuel. Consumption of charge components is controlled and agglomerate of the specified chemical composition is sintered. To the charge there introduced is return blast-furnace agglomerate or return steel-making agglomerate, or slag mixture, or slag mixture with return in equivalent quantity. At that, introduced component is supplied for sintering in quantity of 15-40% of the charge mass, and solid fuel consumption for sintering is specified on the basis of obtaining steel-making agglomerate with FeO content of 6.5-16.5% and difference in FeO content in converter sludge and the specified FeO content in agglomerate of 3.0% and more.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining agglomerate with high strength properties and reducing fuel consumption during its production.
