FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed casing incorporates scroll branch pipe and comprises outer and inner convolutions including inlet scroll and outlet diffuser sections connected in parallel in said inner convolution and, via bypass section, in outer convolution. Sum of areas of inner coil and outer coil bypass section equals the area of outer coil spiral section outlet cross section while that of similar areas of initial cross section of outer coils and that of adjacent diffuser section of inner coil equals the area of inner coil spiral section cross section. Said inner and outer convolutions are divided by inside branch wall arranged in zone of adjacent diffuser sections to divided their inlet cross section areas at the ratio of 1.5±0.15.
EFFECT: improved operating properties, reduced power consumption for pumping.
