FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and may be used in production of nano-sized particles of silver with the help of super dispersed powder of silver. Proposed method comprises premixing of silver nitrate 4%-solution in ethanol with 1%-solution of sodium hydroxide in ethanol to obtain silver oxide precipitate. Then, ammonia solution of silver oxide in ethanol is obtained by passing gassy ammonia to complete dissolution of precipitate. Silver is reduced from said solution in ethanol by acoustic cavitation for 5-15 min in the presence of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol or glycerin used as organic solvent.

EFFECT: simplified process.
