SUBSTANCE: method for producing nano-sized particles of noble metals. It can be used to obtain nano-sized silver particles for production and medicine. A mixture of linear C4-C12 and branched C8-C12 carboxylic acids is prepared at a molar ratio of 1:0.25-1, which is mixed with ethylene glycol or propylene glycol and sodium hydroxide to obtain a mixture of sodium carboxylates. The resulting mixture of sodium carboxylates is mixed with a solution of silver nitrate in ethylene glycol or propylene glycol. Synthesis is carried out at pH 7 and temperature 60-80°C.

EFFECT: increase in the degree of extraction of silver, obtaining silver particles with a size of 12-40 nm and reducing the time of the process by 3 times.
