FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to nonmagnetic austenitic cast irons with low coefficient of linear expansion. Cast iron contains the following, wt %: carbon 3.1-3.6; silica 2.1-2.5; manganese 8-10; copper 0.8-2.5; chrome 0.07-0.1; aluminium 0.3-0.8; rare-earth metals 0.02-0.06; barium 0.03-0.06; sulphur 0.02-0.06; boron 0.002-0.02; iron is the rest.
EFFECT: obtained cast iron has reduced hardness in cast state, low strength thermal stresses and high cutting performance of cast iron.
